Project Description:
The purpose and objective of the project is the construction of the expressway R2, which will serve as a road bypass Bánovce nad Bebravou. Length of section: 10.764 88 km (9.56 km). In the section at km 1,200 1,700 (to the beginning of the bridge 22-00) full profile expressway category R24,5/120th will be executed. In the section from km 1.700 to the end of section (at 10,764 km 88) half-profile of expressway will be carried out. The project consists of 100 construcion units (hereinafter "SO"). It includes 13 bridges, one of which is the longest bridge SO 202-00 R2 on the relocation of road I/50 and the railway line at 1,754 km with a total length of 164.105 m. There were also 2 noise barriers, utilities and road relocations.

The works contract is governed by the terms and conditions of FIDIC "Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build - for electrical and mechanical works and for building and engineering works designed by the Contractor ("Yellow Book"), First edition 1999.
